2-years post-doc position at LPC-CAEN

LPC-CAEN has an opening 2-years post-doc position funded by the ANR-16-CE31-0018-02. The project is related to the SoLid Experiment, which are searching for Very-Short Baseline Neutrino Oscillation near the BR2 reactor (Belgium).

The successful candidate will be assigned to the SoLid team of the GRIFON Group (Groupe Interactions Fondamentales et Nature du Neutrino) within the Laboratoire de Physique Corpusculaire de Caen

The candidate must have obtained a PhD in nuclear and/or experimental particle physics. Strong skills in nuclear detection, Monte-Carlo simulation (Geant4, MCNP,...) and data analysis are required.

In addition, expertise in reactor physics and/or electroweak interaction (beta/neutrino spectrum) would be greatly appreciated.
