Summiting The Unknown – Celebrating The Legacy of Ann Nelson
University of Washington May 30 – June 1, 2020
Welcome to a celebration of Ann Nelson’s research legacy!
Over three days, we will celebrate the research legacy of Ann Nelson, who was a pioneer in many areas of theoretical particle physics and who steered the particle physics community in novel directions throughout her career. This workshop will also provide a forum to enable future advances in both theoretical and experimental particle physics in understanding what lies beyond the Standard Model.
Inspired by Ann Nelson’s leadership in multiple fields of particle physics, the meeting will focus on model building, the baryon asymmetry of the Universe, dark matter, neutrinos, and cosmology/astroparticle physics.
