Giorgio Arcadi (UGOE) gave a public talk on neutrinos and dark matter at the Georg-August Universität Göttingen, in Göttingen, Germany on July 24, 2014. In his presentation, titled “Looking for the Invisibles”, Giorgio Arcadi gave an overview on how it is possible to detect two of the ’Invisible’ components of the Universe, namely the neutrinos and dark matter, and why they are so important in modern Particle Physics. However, rather than listing and describing current experiments, the main focus was to discuss the general philosophy driving current experimental searches.
